What are my weekly AI Token Limits?
Your AI token limits depend on your subscription plan or trial status.

When do my AI Token Limits Reset?
Your AI token usage resets weekly. The reporting week starts every Sunday, and usage resets back to zero at the beginning of each week (Sunday, UTC timezone). If an organization converts to a paid plan, the usage also resets to zero and the new plan limits apply. Unused tokens do not roll over to the next week.
What AI Service/Model is being Used?
GitKrakens AI service currently integrates with Google’s Gemini 2.0 Flash. Additional models and AI services will be available in the future.
How secure is my data?
We prioritize the security of your data. We do not store, use, or monitor the content of AI requests sent to Gemini. We only track metadata related to usage and potential errors for an account. All requests are pass-through, and results from the AI agents are not stored in our databases. You will only be able to get these results as part of the initial request. Subsequent GET requests will not contain results. Nothing is stored or cached. The only data stored is metadata on the number of tokens used for an account. Every request made through our AI service is a new session, and nothing is cached. Are GitKraken AI features in Preview?
Yes, GitKraken AI features are currently in Preview. This means that while we are actively developing and refining these features, they are not yet considered finalized. During the Preview period AI features may undergo changes based on user feedback, testing, and ongoing improvements. We encourage users to try out the AI features and share their experiences to help us shape the future of GitKraken AI.
Can I opt out of GitKraken’s AI features?
Yes! Organizations on the Advanced or higher plan can control access to GitKraken’s AI features from the administration section at www.gitkraken.dev/settings/security. If you are an individual developer, you can simply not use GitKrakens AI features or opt to bring your own API key to configure for use. Please see the help center for more details on specific AI features for the products you use.
